Dunamis Community Advocate Services

MISSION:

DCAS is a not for profit organization, affiliated with Dunamis Woman, Inc. and Dunamis Woman Magazine, and operates in conjunction with Dunamis Woman Ministries.  Our aim is to bring healing and wholeness to our communities via educating and empowering our teens, adolescents and young adults to become productive and self-sufficient in our society.

PURPOSE

Our purpose is to provide a wide range of services in order to properly prepare youth and adolescents for life challenges, as inevitability is encountered, in order for a preventive measure for poor performance to be established.  Our goal is to build self-esteem, utilize practical approaches, and meet each individual where they are mentally and emotionally, provide accountability, and provoke them to activate their dunamis (relentless) power in order to produce expected outcomes.

Dunamis Teens

Motto: "Every woman is a Dunamis Woman. It reveals her impact in communities while empowering others to thrive".

Purpose: To provide a wide range of platforms and opportunities in order to Expose the passion and power that exuberates from women of every ethnicity attending college, as they endeavor to fulfill their purpose and destiny, Educate women attending college on how to enhance and maximize innate abilities and skills for their divine purpose, and Empower women attending college to continue to break through barriers for great success in spite of the challenges and obstacles they encounter.

Targeted Population: Women pursuing higher levels of education in various professions of all ethnicities/race, between17-25 years of age who are ready and willing to cultivate, activate, and ignite their dunamis power, as they break through barriers for great success.

Plan: Create workshops, seminars and special events in which women will come together to receive coaching, as well as become empowered to discuss and evaluate real life topics and constructively develop strategies to apply changes to their individual lives.

Essay Contest


Every woman is a Dunamis Woman! A Dunamis Woman exemplifies her Power and it Reveals Her Impact while Empowering Others!

Topic: Every woman possesses her own power endowed within, yet it takes sacrifice, strength, self-motivation, and humility to activate and ignite. Please describe your dunamis power and what it means to you. Explain how you plan to cultivate, activate, and ignite your dunamis power and militant strength within? What trials or accomplishments in your life experience, would you employ to define your purpose as a woman and the impact you want to make in your community, school, future career, business and/or world?

Targeted Population:
A Dunamis Woman; 17 to 24 years of age.
A Dunamis Woman who is relentlessly pursuing her life-long dreams & visions
A Dunamis Woman who is self-confident and believes in her God given abilities

Requirements: 500 word minimum, 900 word maximum, typewritten essay; Photo (i.e.headshot); Resume
